This 40kvar Static Var Generator is purpose-built for welding workshops. Welding equipment generates sharp, intermittent impulse loads, which easily trigger voltage flicker, distorted current waveform and unstable power factor. These issues can cause inconsistent welding quality, shorten the service life of transformers and bring unexpected utility power-factor penalties.Our SVG adopts voltage-source PWM inverter design with high-speed IGBT power modules. It continuously absorbs or injects reactive current to stabilise the grid voltage under rapidly changing welding loads. Unlike traditional TSC and capacitor compensation cabinets that only perform stepped switching, this unit delivers stepless real-time output adjustment to match the instantaneous load fluctuation of welding machines.Installed in welding workshops, the device suppresses voltage flicker, improves power factor and mitigates harmonic distortion, ensuring stable welding output and consistent workpiece quality. Every ND-SVG-40-380 unit undergoes full-load aging testing at our factory before shipment, to guarantee stable operation under frequent impact load conditions in welding production lines.

3. Strong anti-electromagnetic interference capability, resisting electromagnetic interference generated by welding machines, to ensure uninterrupted stable operation. Optimized internal circuit layout reduces energy consumption and extends the whole machine service life.
4. All-in-one integrated compensation function: simultaneous reactive power adjustment, harmonic filtering and three-phase imbalance correction, solving multiple power quality troubles brought by multi-set welding equipment.

Working principle and core technology :

• The SVG relies on voltage-source inverter topology for dynamic grid regulation.
• It continuously captures real-time load current signals, calculates the target reactive current through a high-performance DSP+FPGA dual-core controller, and drives the IGBT power bridge via high-frequency PWM modulation. It then outputs compensation current counter-phase to the reactive component of welding loads.
• It is equipped with the ADALINE adaptive linear neural network control algorithm. The equipment can autonomously learn the power grid characteristics of the welding workshop on site. Manual parameter setting by field technicians is not required, which greatly cuts the commissioning workload for workshop power renovation projects.
• The unit achieves dynamic response within 5ms and suppresses harmonics ranging from the 2nd to the 50th order. After compensation, the power factor can stay above 0.99.
• Since it adopts active current injection instead of capacitor switching for grid governance, there is no risk of parallel resonance.
• It works compatibly with various arc welders, resistance welding machines and other non-linear welding equipment.
